Does the New Facebook layout suck?

A new year, a new Facebook layout? It seems like Facebook has done it again when it comes to “irritating” its facebook users. If you’ve been affected by the “Facebook News Feed” change in Facebook, then you are not the only one. If my memory served me right, a lot of people posted angry status messages saying that they “can’t see” their status post as well as the statuses of their friends because of the “news feed” feature.

And now, Facebook is changing the WHOLE LAYOUT that you see on your homepage.

I am imagining billion of rant statuses on my facebook page already.

So apparently, the change was suppose to de-clutter  the layout. However, it seems like a lot of spaces are going to be wasted in the new layout. see that big white column on the left side of your Facebook homepage? In the new layout, that column will be considerably be enlarged, wasting a lot of white spaces affecting your stats on the right.

So affecting is the new Facebook layout for 2010 that a Facebook Page entitled “New Facebook Layout sucks” has been recently created on Facebook. Check out their page and you will also see there a preview of the new 2010 Facebook layout.

(It’s kind of odd however – my Facebook homepage still looks like the old one. Lucky haha )
