Aw man, I think I have been left out in the gaming world. Last time I played Splinter Cell was when I was in college. I was playing through the second installment of Splinter Cell on the Playstation 2 and never finished it up until now. From then on I haven’t received any news regarding Sam Fisher and his stealth missions all over the world.
And now Sam Fisher comes back in a new grittier character in Splinter Cell Conviction, now available for demo!
What’s new with the latest installment of Splinter Cell Conviction?
Well I will have to say, A LOT.
Right from the start, you are immersed into the environment as a grittier Sam Fisher, where he takes on baddies like those in the movies; grabbing them in the neck and pushing them over a wall or if your lucky, against a mirror. The developers also pushed up the ante by totally immersing you with the environment; giving you cues regarding your mission through your surroundings.
For example, instead of pausing the game and searching for your mission objectives, the objectives quickly prints out in the environment, say, as a lettering in a wall or other similar objects. The object of this feature is to constantly glue you in the game in order for you to enjoy a continued gaming experience.
Just looking through the Splinter Cell Conviction demo made really, REALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN! (if ever I will have the chance that is
)
