Wouldn’t it be cool if you can know if your locality has a number of law offenders living in it? It will not only inform you about their location but it will also serve as a “warning” when going near the offender’s location?
With Family Watch Dog (www.familywatchdog.us), you can exactly that.
Family Watch Dog is a website that allows you to locate sex offenders (yes, you read it right, sex offenders), in your locality by typing in your address and zip code. Google is one of its proud sponsor and is given a thumbs up by Oprah herself.
Unfortunately, this is only available in the United States. Here in the Philippines, I think there aren’t any similar system like the Family Watch Dog. But the Philippine government could also do a similar system in order for people to know offenders’ location (of course, after going through the ever sacred “Right to Privacy” issue) and warn their children if ever they come near their location.
