Do you have any idea what a geek is? Of course you do. Geeks are those type of people that are somewhat “obsessed” with something any other people wouldn’t bother about in the first place. Geeks are one of the stereotypes of our society, and unfortunately, they are considered somewhat at the “end” of the food-chain.
And to add to that, Geeks are those type of people that are prone to “predators” – the jocks, varsity player, and the rock star guy.
But this time around, geeks are on the top – they may even be the ones who created/ manufactured your computer you’re currently working on right now.
So what is a Geek anyway? According to wikipedia;
“The word geek is a slang term, noting individuals as “One who is perceived to be overly obsessed with one or more things including those of intellectuality, electronics, etc.”
It may be considered that being a labeled as a geek is a “loser” thing. But recently, a lot of people have been embracing” geekiness” (is there such a word?) and converting it to “coolness” (here I go again 
).
Consider Steph of Stephthegeek.com. Well, she is a alright, but you have to admit that she takes away the “loser look” of a geek in her own stylish way.
And of course, Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are geeks way back during their childhood – and yet, they are considered as the “cool guys”. C’mon, creating two remarkable computer companies/ OS that is used virtually by everyone around the world? That is cool alright.
