Silva’s Killer Kick in UFC 126- Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort Fight.

UFC 126 – Silva vs Belfort may well be one of the most anticipated MMA fight this 2011. Last night, every MixedMartial Arts fighting fans were certainly glued onto their TV screens waiting for the fight.

Silva however has speed on his side – but that doesn’t mean that Belfort is any inferior to Silva – both fighters are south-paw fighters so they both share the same techniques in fighting.

The starting minutes were not that glamorous – both fighters were just “waiting” for the right moment to pounce on each other. Belfort initially made contact with Silva, landing a kick and left punch unto Silva. Belfort seems to have the upper hand in the opening minutes of the fight – until Silva kicked him in the chin, that is.

The referee didn’t call off the fight after Silva’s kick (although Belfort was already down on the floor, obviously hurt by the kick). Silva pounced for the kill and won the match by Knockout and declared the UFC Middleweight champion.
