Where to find free Medical Dictionaries.

Dictionaries nowadays are very expensive – even the simplest or smallest dictionary can cost you around $16.00 (800Php), so finding the right dictionary for you is no joke.

There are many kinds of dictionaries depending on the user’s needs. For example, law students or lawyers have the “law dictionary” which specifically provide for hard-to-understand legal terms.

However, in this post, we’ll tackle on a different kind of dictionary – the “medical dictionary“.

Of course, the medical dictionary is a dictionary specifically made for those people in the medical field like doctors, nurses, for example.

Like any dictionaries, medical dictionaries are expensive. But thanks to technology, not only that it made medical dictionaries cheap, it also made it very accessible to everyone.

If you have a computer, then you are in luck. Freedictionary.com has a web page that specifically serve your medical dictionary needs. As long as you have internet connection, you will be fine (you don’t have to pay anything :D ) You can check it out here.

If you have a smartphone (an Android to be exact) then you are in luck too. The ZZ Medical Dictionary for Android is a medical dictionary for the on-the-go medical student/doctor. With just a flick of your Android phone, you’ll gain access to that hard-to-understand medical term.

You can also try the Merriam-Webster Medical Dictionary for the Android. It will cost you $24.95 for the full app but you can try it first for free (trial app) in appbrain.com.

There you go! Enjoy reading your new-found medical dictionaries!
