Before the 2012 Super Bowl even started, football fans already knew what Madonna’s going to perform during halftime at the 2012 Super Bowl – all thanks to TMZ. in fact, the stage had the words “Vogue” written on it. If that’s not enough clue to you then we don’t know what is.

As with all Madonna-performances, the people’s  “glamorous expectations” were there. And fortunately, Madonna definitely delivered the “glam” in her performance. Right from the get-go, you’ll see a platoon of gladiators pulls up Madonna, “cleopatra-style“.

Madonna performed “Vogue” at the beginning of her performance, and as if age is not a hindrance to her, danced with her back-up dancers with eagerness and suave. Who told you that a 53 year old lady can’t dance like a 20+ teenager?

Aside from singing “Vogue” , Madonna also sang “Music“, and “Give Me All Your Luvin” with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. as well as her 1989 hit song “Like a Prayer“.

“In over 25 years of performing that I’ve done, I have never worked so hard or been so scrupulous or detail-oriented or freaked out as much as I have.” Madonna said. (Chicago Tribune.com)

Apple recently unveiled iBook 2 at a press event held in Guggeinheim Museum at New York on Thursday January 19,2012. iBook 2, an appplication for Apple’s iPad, can be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store online.

So what will you get when you download iBook 2 to your iPad?

iBook 2 allows you to read various ebooks, and more. If the ebook you downloaded has images on it (say, dinosaurs for example in case you downloaded a dinosaur-themed book), you’ll be able to see this images in 3D or with movement. You can even annotate the parts that you want to annotate. Got something that caught your attention at page 41? Add a sticky on it.

Apple said that it initially partnered with various textbook makers like, Pearson, McGraw Hill, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt among others. The cost of the ebooks that you can download? $14.99 or less. Compare that to your $80 dead-tree book.

For kids, learning to ride a bike is a big accomplishment. Not for this 15-year old boy though. Meet Jordan Romero, a young american kid which at 15 years old, have climbed the Seven Summits.

Yes, not one, not two, but seven – that’s seven mountains.

And yes, you read that right, he’s 15 years old. Just imagine what he did with his bike when he was younger. (naah, just joking on that part ).

On December 24, Romero reached the peak of Vinson Massif in Antarctica. At age 13, he already reached the peak of Mount Everest. Back in July 2007, he already set foot on the peak of Mt. Elbrus in Russia and Mt. Aconcagua in Argentina in December 2007. On June 2008 he reached the peak of Mt. McKinley in US and Carstenz Pyramid in Indonesia in September 2009.

Romero is the world’s youngest climber to ascend the Seven Summits, namely: Africa – Mt Kilimanjaro (5,892m; 19,340ft), Antarctica – Vinson Massif (4,892; 16,050), Australia – Mt Kosciuszko (2,228m; 7,310ft), Oceania – Carstensz Pyramid (4,884m; 16,024ft), Asia – Mt Everest (8,848m; 29,035ft), Europe – Mt Elbrus (5,642m; 18,510ft), North America – Mt McKinley (6,194m; 20,320ft), South America – Aconcagua (6,962m; 22,841ft).

As if the NBA Lockout wasn’t enough, Kobe Bryant will be experiencing one lonely Christmas day as his wife, Vanessa, files for divorce, officially ending their 10 1/2 years of marriage.

Vanessa Bryant, filed the divorce on the ground of “irreconcilable differences“. According to TMZ (through Yahoo!), Vanessa filed the divorce papers because of an alleged “unfaithfulness” of Kobe, yet again.

Kobe however did not say anything to the press regarding the divorce.

According to TMZ.com;

Vanessa Bryant filed legal docs Friday afternoon, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … Vanessa — who stuck by Kobe after he was charged with sexually assaulting a Colorado woman in 2003 — decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe has been unfaithful … again.

As one source puts it, “She’s been dealing with these incidents for a long time and has been a faithful wife, but she’s finally had enough,” adding, “This one is the straw that broke the camel’s back.” And our sources say … Kobe “desperately” wants to win Vanessa back and will do “whatever it takes” to save their 10 1/2 year marriage.

According to the legal docs, Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their 2 daughters — 8-year-old Natalia and 5-year-old Giana — but Vanessa is asking that Kobe get visitation rights, which means she wants the kids in her care most of the time.

Activision Blizzard, the maker of popular video game Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 3 should have good reasons to celebrate this December.

16 days after its official release on November 8, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reached a sales record of $1 billion. It even beat James Cameron ’s 2009 3D film “Avatar“, which took 17 days to reach the billion mark.

And who wouldn’t love Modern Warfare 3? Personally, I’ve played the original Modern Warfare and I know it would be a hit.

“Call of Duty has become that rare entertainment franchise that transcends its own genre” said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing. “Core gamers love it, as our stellar reviews show. But every year, new people are drawn into Call of Duty.”
