
Anamika Veeramani, a 14 year old girl from North Royalton, Cleveland in the United States won first prize on the recently held 83rd Scripps National Spelling Bee.
The Scripps National Spelling Bee is a prestigious spelling competition in the United States dating back in 1925. Contestants come from different states all over United States and from different countries around the world, including Canada, Jamaica, Germany, South Korea, to name a few.
